Career Technical Education (CTE) Job Coach (non-union)

About the role

To provide assistance in the performance and monitoring of job duties and social integration skills, reinforce workplace behavior, and ensure youth follow minor labor laws both on and off of the Lorain City Schools (LCS) campus. Compensation is determined by placement on the Non‑Represented Paraprofessional/Hourly Support Staff salary grid.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site job coaching and teach foundational work skills by breaking down job duties into trainable steps for students with disabilities.
• Communicate with school staff and business partners to learn the tasks students will be expected to perform.
• Work closely with students to ensure compliance and safety measures are followed.
• Versatility in handling a variety of tasks and adjusting to new work environments throughout the school year.

Schedule

184‑day work year with actual work dates determined annually by the Treasurer or his/her assigned designee.
