Career & Technical Education
About the District
At the Troy School District, our mission is to cultivate a culture of career readiness among our students from Kindergarten through grade 12 by fostering career awareness, encouraging exploration of diverse career pathways, and providing robust preparation for future success. Through engaging curriculum, hands-on experiences, and strategic partnerships with industry leaders, we empower every student to discover their passions, develop essential skills, and confidently pursue their chosen careers.
When Career Technical Education (CTE) is integrated with a student's academic schedule, students develop the skills needed for success. The technical, academic, and employability skills that students gain in CTE programs and work-based learning are essential for college and career success.
- Skills to help them get jobs in the future.
- Real-world examples to help them understand academic classes.
- The chance to work as part of a team.
We foster in our students a sense of purpose and help them carve a path that aligns their skills, interests, and values with their professional aspirations.
