Location: Charles Flanagan High School, Pembroke Pines

About the role

Provide career and labor-market information to parents and to students enrolled in middle, high school, and adult-education programs. Work cooperatively with school administrators, teachers, guidance personnel, community agencies, and local businesses.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• A standard high-school diploma or an approved General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Three years of full-time industry work experience aligned to any Florida Department of Education career cluster.
• Effective communication skills.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

OR

• An earned associate’s degree from an accredited institution or at least 60 semester hours of earned college credit from an accredited institution.
• One year of documented work experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Pay

Hourly rate: $21.13 – $31.92 per hour. New hires start at the minimum of the assigned salary range.

Work calendar: 196-day calendar.
