Description And Responsibilities
Career Counselors at Open Sky Career Services follow the Competitive Integrated Employment Services (CIES) model to support individuals in achieving their employment goals. This includes collaborating with MassAbility and the Department of Transitional Assistance to set employment and educational goals, assessing vocational readiness through skill development, and assisting individuals in accessing benefits and understanding their impact on employment.
- Determine individuals’ vocational readiness through skill development, including job application completion, resume writing, and interview preparation.
- Collaborate with MassAbility and Department of Transitional Assistance to set employment and educational goals.
- Operate as a representative of Open Sky in meetings with funders.
- Aid individuals in accessing and understanding their benefits, such as SSI, SSDI, and other programs.

Pay and Schedule
The base rate for this position is USD $23.65 per hour.
