Responsibilities

• Provide excellent supervision and training opportunities
• Offer professional development and training
• Implement a generous paid time off plan starting at 29 days in the first year, increasing to 32 days in the second year
• Pay for higher education through a tuition reimbursement program and certification reimbursements
• Offer medical, dental, vision insurance, and a prescription plan
• Provide a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
• Offer life insurance with employer-paid coverage
• Participate in high-level collaboration with partners to support individuals in competitive integrated employment services
• Support individuals in stabilizing their employment and achieving successful outcomes
• Collaborate with MassAbility and Department of Transitional Assistance to determine employment and educational goals
• Determine vocational readiness through skill development activities like job applications, resume writing, and interview preparation
• Represent Open Sky in meetings with funders related to work responsibilities and support for individuals served
• Aid individuals in accessing and understanding their benefits, including SSI, SSDI, and other programs
• Assist individuals in becoming Certified Employment Specialists upon hire

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
• Minimum of two years experience working with individuals with disabilities, including behavioral health challenges
• Willingness to obtain the Certified Employment Specialist certification upon hire

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
