Career Services Associate
About the role
You’ll be the connection between education and opportunity. You’ll help students walk into interviews with confidence, build relationships with employers, and turn career goals into real job opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide career coaching including resume development, interview preparation, and job search strategies
- Support graduates in securing employment aligned with their education
- Build and maintain partnerships with local employers and industry contacts
- Cook up hiring events, employer visits, and career workshops
- Coordinate tracking placement activity and contribute to campus placement goals
- Collaborate with faculty and campus teams to support student career outcomes
Requirements
Associate degree or higher preferred
Experience in staffing, recruiting, sales, or customer service preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

San Joaquin Valley College offers a competitive compensation package of $24.00 - $27.00 per hour, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, one day a week 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
