Job Duties

  • Provides career coaching to trainees in both in-person and virtual settings.
  • Plans and facilitates workshops on a variety of topics, including career exploration, CV/resume development, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for managing digital resources and technology platforms (e.g., Handshake, InTouch, YouTube) used by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with Career Services Leadership to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that increase trainee engagement with Center resources and services.
  • Leverages social media platforms to promote programs, services, and events to trainees, alumni, employers, faculty, and staff.
  • Independently creates instructional and informational materials for both print and digital distribution.
  • Supports the planning and execution of annual programs, including symposia, immersive learning experiences, and professional development seminars.
  • Participates in outreach initiatives designed to increase awareness and utilization of the Center’s resources and services.
  • Leads the management of the Career Advisory Board and facilitates collaborative stakeholder engagement efforts.
  • Captures and maintains accurate records, collaborates with Career Services Leadership to prepare annual reports for institutional leadership.
  • Assists with strategic planning efforts by identifying opportunities for future programming and securing stakeholder and collaborator support.
  • Leads the development and management of both internal and external advisory boards in partnership with Alumni Affairs and Development.
  • Independently manages the digital badge curriculum, including program design, implementation, participant evaluation, credential issuance, and ongoing oversight.
  • Expands career coaching support for residents and fellows through intentional outreach and collaboration with Graduate Medical Education (GME).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD Degree.
  • Six years of relevant experience.
  • Experience using Handshake.
  • Experience coaching Biomedical Research and Clinical Trainees (Graduate and Post Graduate).
