Career Preparation Instructor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the career preparation period program for new students, in compliance with government and management directives.
• Develop, prepare, and deliver career preparation lessons using various teaching strategies to meet student learning needs.
• Perform all duties assigned to instructor.
• Recommend an appropriate training program for each assigned student using background files, personal interviews, tests, and assessment tools.
• Conduct pre-arrival contacts with potential enrollees, prepare and mail pre-arrival and safe arrival letters, and coordinate arrival activities with other center departments.
• Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and service effectiveness.
• Prepare related reports.
• Participate on student evaluation panels, prepare required documentation and evaluations using CIS, and other systems of documentation.
• Enter case notes into the CIS system as required and in accordance with established timelines.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years related experience.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Pay

$42,000 annually

Schedule

Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday
