Responsibilities

• Install, splice, and terminate fiber-optic cables according to industry standards.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on fiber networks to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare installation plans.
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment for fiber-optic work.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fiber-optic installation, splicing, or related trades.
• Familiarity with industry tools such as OTDRs, fusion splicers, and cable testers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (e.g., outdoors, confined spaces).
