Career Navigator Team Lead
SUMMARY
The Career Navigator Team Lead provides comprehensive case management, employment and career counseling, job placement, and post-placement retention support to clients. Focused on achieving successful outcomes, the Career Navigator Team Lead actively engages in employer outreach and job development to expand placement opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead participant success by providing employment counseling, job placement, and retention support to help individuals achieve sustainable employment.
Build and maintain employer partnerships to identify job opportunities and align participants with current labor market needs.
Deliver impactful job readiness training, workshops, and career coaching to enhance participant employability and advancement.
Carry out barrier assessments and apply motivational interviewing techniques to address challenges and support positive outcomes.
Provide comprehensive case management, including developing and updating individualized employment plans based on participant goals and labor market trends.
Aid participants in accessing community resources, referrals, and support services to promote self-sufficiency.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential participant records, including case notes, documentation, and progress tracking in compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Complete all funder-required documentation, including case transfers, closures, and support service payments, in accordance with established policies and timelines.
Support program operations by assisting with staff training and onboarding related to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and submit reports; adhere to workplace safety standards; and support organizational accreditation requirements.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and two years’ experience in social work/human services or related field.
Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
Supervisory or assistant supervisory experienced required.

Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
