Description
We have an opening for a full-time career coach to support our relocation and outplacement solutions. This role will be working 100% remotely from a home office with flexibility in setting hours.
Essential Functions
- Maintains proactive contact with assigned participants via phone, email, and meetings.
- Guides program participants through the coaching process and milestone completion.
- Advises and coaches on career development, transition issues, and career options.
- Works directly with Résumé and Research departments to ensure services provided meet identified needs.
- Career coaching includes assisting domestic accompanying spouses/partners due to relocation, as well as international job seekers on Visas, so coaching will include alternative options if candidate is unable to legally work in the US.
- Maintains detailed and timely service delivery records and data (via CRM) for each program participant serviced.
- Monitors the progress of participants, consults with them on specific subjects to improve their job search skills and knowledge and deals with personal issues that are affecting their careers.
- Responsible for achieving quality results throughout the relationship with assigned participants; responds to and incorporates quality assurance feedback in fostering professional growth.
- Incorporates time management techniques and balances program delivery demands to effectively service all recipients.
- Travel occasionally, including domestic overnight travel to our client locations to deliver workshops or coaching.
- Group facilitation experience delivering in-person and/or online workshops.

- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum three to five years of experience in the delivery of job search strategy/career coaching to individuals in various industries and levels.
- Experience coaching others in job search.
- Experience with resume development, interview preparation, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles, and other social media platforms, plus other aspects of job search coaching.
- Bachelor’s degree in a discipline involving the study of human behavior, counseling, business or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
- Coaching certification or training is highly regarded.
- Well-versed in coaching domestic job seekers as well as international job seekers regarding immigration issues, visas, repatriation, and work authorization constraints.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to analyze and appropriately address transitional needs.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and fulfill both departmental and positional responsibilities.
- Understands the local and national job markets.
- Experience with virtual coaching.
- Savvy with technology and tech trends.
- High-speed internet connection on a personal computer; headset with a microphone will be required (for remote work/work from home).
- Lives within 60 minutes of a major airport.
- Prefers experience in delivering in-person group training.
