Career Business Analyst

AmeriLife has been a leader in the development, marketing, and distribution of annuity, life, and health insurance solutions for over 50 years. This role supports agents, marketers, and carrier partners by collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to drive success in a rapidly evolving industry.

Responsibilities

• Collects and organizes specified data from various sources, including Career subject matter experts, CRM reports, agency business plans, leads, sales and budgetary reports, and other company resources.
• Reviews collected data for trends and outliers, presenting findings to Career management with emphasis on production, recruiting, sales, earnings/profits, contest results, or other specified parameters.
• Identifies potential issues and offers suggestions to resolve problems highlighted by data analysis.
• Creates detailed reports of data and analytical findings on a scheduled basis (monthly, quarterly, annually) and clearly communicates them to management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and its terminology.
• Prior experience in data review and analysis.

Skills

• Adept with basic research methods and analytical thinking.
• Mastery of basic math and statistics.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation-style platforms.
• Ability to create visual descriptions of findings and present them to staff at varying levels in the organization.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with managerial staff across departments.
• Excellent organizational skills.
