Responsibilities
- Affords local employment opportunities, populates job boards, creates resumes, and organizes campus events to support active students in their job search.
- Ensures active students are prepared for industry employment by providing mock interview opportunities, resume workshops, career counseling sessions, career development courses, and job search techniques.
- Plans and coordinates career fairs, employer visits, expos, virtual employer sessions, and other employment events to provide students with opportunities to connect with employers and understand industry positions.
- Promotes and introduces students to student and manufacturer paid MSATs by delivering informational presentations and guiding them through career opportunities.
- Ensures strong employment rates for active students and graduates by following up with unemployed students/graduates through various touchpoints.
- Fulfills ACCSC standards and state guidelines by accurately collecting and recording students' and graduates' employment records.
- Follows up with graduates and employers to ensure timely submission and accurate documentation of employment verification information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required, with some college courses preferred.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience required.
- 1-2 years of high-volume phone or sales experience required.
- Solid understanding of metrics-driven environments with a proven record of meeting or exceeding defined metrics.
- Strong customer service skills, interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written), strong presentation and sales skills, strong planning and organizational skills, independent decision-making abilities, proficiency in computer software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook).
- Physical requirements: able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds; able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% of the workday; able to communicate, think, learn, and reason for all of the workday; able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time; able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time; able to safely ambulate and/or maneuver when on-site at Company locations; able to demonstrate and utilize active listening, inductive reasoning, information ordering and category flexibility; able and willing to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines and multi-tasking are essential.
