About the role
Career Advisor at Fedcap Families, South Paris site, supporting participants facing barriers to economic wellbeing and seeking employment.
Responsibilities
- Manage caseload of participants, orient them to program, develop Career Plans.
- Build trust, provide individualized services, make referrals, coordinate support services.
- Develop resumes, cover letters, assist with job applications.
- Provide ongoing support, document interactions, complete administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred OR high school diploma/GED plus equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in career services, case management, workforce development, or social services.
- Cultural sensitivity, trauma-informed approach, understanding of equality in workforce development.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other technology systems.
- Valid US Driver’s license.
Benefits

- No nights or weekends.
Pay
Minimum starting salary $46,000+, depending on experience.
