About the role
SOL Mental Health is an innovative mental health care provider dedicated to redefining the industry through new approaches and practices. Care Team Members play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, professional experience for all patients by greeting visitors, answering phones, and managing daily scheduling needs across calls, emails, and logistics.
- Complete patient intake and check-in processes, ensuring all forms, insurance verifications, copays, and balances are collected and documented accurately.
- Manage schedules for patients and clinicians, including adjustments, follow-ups, discharge workflows, reactivation, and end-of-day processes, while maintaining accurate information in the EHR.
- Support clinical teams by triaging patient concerns, escalating issues appropriately, and coordinating necessary services.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with patients, families, referral partners, and vendors to support the full patient journey and enhance engagement.
- Ensure accurate charge capture, billing-related documentation, and timely submission of required data.
- Maintain compliance with all policies and regulatory standards (HIPAA, CMS, OSHA, etc.) and uphold a high standard of customer service.
- Represent Sol Mental Health with professionalism and contribute positively to team culture by demonstrating empathy, collaboration, and reliability.
- Meet productivity goals and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills
- Clinical exposure or Medical Assistant experience including reading medical records, supporting medication workflows, coordinating with pharmacies, and assisting with prior authorizations.
- MA Certification is a plus.
- Able to effectively manage difficult situations and de-escalate issues that arise.
- Able to interact and work professionally and effectively with a diverse population.
- Highly organized and able to juggle many tasks at once.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products and ability to learn clinic operations technology systems.
- Able to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
- Strong work ethic, passionate and enthusiastic personality with a high degree of integrity, humility, and a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able effectively communicate over the phone, computer, and face to face.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay
The estimated hourly compensation for this role is $25.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience. This role is also eligible for a monthly bonus based upon metrics set for the role.
