Care Team Leader (Nights)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our team in Croftbank for 33 hours per week working nights.

Responsibilities

• Promote and encourage the wider care team to create daily meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection.
• Create and update resident Care Plans, ensuring they are personalized with what’s meaningful to the individual.
• Promote the values and virtue of our Inclusion Charter to ensure residents are at the very core of their care.
• Uphold care standards and lead by example when supervising the wider care team.
• Promote compassionate care within a friendly and supportive environment.
• Help induct new care staff.
• Supervise the care team.
• Conduct training.
• Support new/junior members of the team to deliver quality personalized care.

Requirements

• A minimum of an SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
• Medication administration training (preferred).
• At least one year's experience working in a care setting in a similar role.
• Awareness and adherence to the SSSC Codes of Practice.
• (Preferably) Registered with the SSSC.
