About the role
We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our team in Rosepark for 22.5 hours per week, working days and nights. Our care team is at the forefront of resident engagement, quality care, and lifestyle opportunities—ensuring physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing is supported for all residents.
The Care Team Lead promotes and encourages the wider care team to create daily meaningful interactions, ensuring residents live with purpose and connection. You will take a primary role in creating and updating resident Care Plans, personalizing them with what’s meaningful to each individual, and upholding the values of our Inclusion Charter.
Responsibilities
- Promote compassionate care within a friendly and supportive environment
- Help induct new care staff and supervise the care team
- Conduct training and support new/junior team members to deliver quality personalized care
- Lead by example in upholding care standards
- Create and update resident Care Plans, ensuring they are personalized
Requirements
- Minimum of SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care
- Medication administration training preferred
- At least one year’s experience in a care setting in a similar role
- Awareness of and adherence to the SSSC Codes of Practice
- SSSC registration preferred
