Responsibilities
- Aid residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
- Respond promptly to residents' needs while respecting their self-respect, dignity, safety, and privacy.
- Report any observed or suspected changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to established safety standards.
- Collaborate with co-workers and other departments to promote teamwork and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Experience preferred but not required; training provided to the right candidate.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
- Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test.
- Eligible to receive vaccinations, participate in daily screenings, surveillance testing, and wear PPE as required by regulatory guidelines.
