Job Overview

The Caregiver reports to the Clinical Services Director. This is a non‑exempt, hourly position offered full‑time.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or DHS certification.
• High School Diploma.
• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population; dementia experience preferred.

Physical Abilities

The associate must be able to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell. Lifting or carrying up to 50 lb is required, along with intermittent physical activity such as lifting and supporting residents while using proper body mechanics.

Pay

Salary Range: $20.00 – $22.00 hourly.
