Care Manager

Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents safely, accurately, and with dignity. They ensure compliance with regulatory standards, follow infection control protocols, and maintain organized medication carts and rooms. This role involves observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns promptly, and documenting all activities accurately in MAR/TAR in real time. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments per physician ordersFollow the Six Rights of Medication AdministrationDocument medication activities accurately and promptlyMonitor residents’ health and report any concernsMaintain medication safety protocols, including narcotic countsEnsure infection control and safety standards are upheld Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma/GED, age 18+Medication Administration certificationCPR and First Aid certificationsStrong documentation and communication skillsPreferred: Senior care experience This role is vital for preventing medication errors, early health change detection, and safeguarding resident safety, contributing to the overall quality of life for seniors in care.
