About the role
The caregiver provides hands-on support to residents, promoting their safety, dignity, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
- Support dining services
- Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
- Document changes in resident condition or behavior
- Create engaging experiences, especially for residents with memory loss in Memory Care
- Communicate effectively with families and care team members
- Maintain a clean, welcoming environment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
