About the role

The Care Giver provides hands‑on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe, comfortable, home‑like environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety.
• Participate in and assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed.
• Engage residents in life‑skill and enrichment activities.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, and co‑workers.
• Superior customer‑service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
