This position offers hybrid flexibility, allowing you to do some work from the comfort of your home. Must be local to Monmouth County NJ. All family visits are conducted in the community.

Responsibilities

• Play a crucial role in meeting with families to assess their needs and coordinate care for children and youth facing mental health, behavioral health, and intellectual/developmental challenges.
• Identify the best resources and services to support these individuals, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they require to thrive.
• Work closely with families and community partners to make a significant impact in the lives of those in need, contributing to a stronger and more supportive environment for all.

Requirements

• Experience as a Social Worker from social services or Human Services
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in related field
• Detail oriented and deadline aware
• Responsible and accountable
• Knowledge of educational system including special education
• Familiarity with the child welfare, juvenile justice, and child protection services systems
• Minimum 1-year experience working with at-risk children and their families
• Bi-lingual ability in Spanish, Portuguese or Creole highly desirable
