About the role

The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care and supporting the caregiving team. This role involves leading shift assignments, managing attendance, and coordinating coverage, while providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). The Lead Caregiver coaches team members on quality standards, documentation, and hospitality, reviewing charting to align with Individualized Service Plans (ISP). They monitor resident changes, communicate concerns promptly, and support onboarding and mentoring of new staff. Promoting safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Age 18+
• CPR certification
• First Aid certification
• Medication Administration certification

• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care
