Care Manager

About the role

This position involves serving as a shift leader in a senior living environment, providing exceptional resident care and supporting the caregiving team.

Responsibilities

• Managing shift assignments, attendance, and coverage
• Offering hands‑on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
• Coaching caregivers on quality standards
• Reviewing charting to ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Monitoring resident changes and communicating concerns promptly
• Supporting onboarding and mentoring new staff
• Promoting safety, compliance, and ensuring smooth shift transitions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Age 18+
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care settings

Skills

• Strong communication, delegation, and decision‑making skills
