Care Giver (HHA/CNA)

Position Summary

As a memory care team member in our Trio Neighborhood, you will play a vital role in creating a compassionate and supportive environment for our residents. You will assist our residents with daily living activities, promote safety, and ensure their well-being. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those living with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Knowing resident routines, life experiences, and what matters to them.
• Providing personalized care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, bathroom needs, helping residents maintain good personal hygiene.
• Aiding residents with a positive and social dining experience, snacks, and hydration.
• Maintaining residents' health status, promptly reporting any changes, and completing incident reports as needed.
• Recording vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) as required.
• Safeguarding the environment, ensuring tidy resident rooms and common areas.
• Responding to and following established procedures during emergencies.
• Collaborating with team members and contributing to effective communications with team members, family members, and visitors.
• Attending and completing professional development trainings to enhance education, skills, and growth.

Qualifications

• A high school graduate or equivalent.
• A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) License, with dementia experience preferred.
• Familiarity with technology.
• Physical and emotional capacity to meet resident needs.
• Flexibility to work 24/7 shifts.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
