Care Giver - 3rd Shift (Memory Care Unit)

About the role

Heartis Village Senior Living, part of the Discovery Management Group, is seeking caring and dependable caregivers for their Memory Care Unit. The position offers competitive wages, flexible scheduling options, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and physical and emotional support to each resident
• Ensure awareness of whereabouts and conduct frequent checks
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs
• Notify supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred
• Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
