Care Giver - 1st Shift FT - Memory Care

About the role

Heartis Village Senior Living is seeking a dependable and compassionate Caregiver to join their Memory Care Team. Heartis Village is now part of the Discovery Management Group, one of the nation's leading purpose-driven senior living organizations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; ensures awareness of whereabouts and conducts frequent checks
• Provides daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance
• Helps residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well-being
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas
• Offers companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents
• Engages residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs
• Notifies supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred
• Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
