Care Coordinator- City Point

About the role

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Care Coordinator to join the team at our Downtown Brooklyn- City Point clinic. Care Coordinators are responsible for supporting patient care by making our patients feel welcomed and valued whilst also controlling the flow of the appointment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all phone calls and emails within 2 hours and always within 24 hours.
• Guide patients through our out-of-network experience.
• Greet all patients who enter the clinic with a smile.
• Execute 5-star customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Hospitable, welcoming, and team-oriented personality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
• A strong attention to detail and willingness to grow.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred, not required.

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity to manipulate office equipment and make written notations.
• Ability to use computer keyboard 90% of each workday.
• Hearing acuity to communicate over the telephone.
• Visual acuity to read information on computer screen.
• Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
