Care Coach

This is a full-time, on-site position based at Electronic Caregiver's corporate headquarters in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work; regular in-person attendance is required.

About the role

The Health Coach educates and communicates with Electronic Caregiver clients, addressing patient needs, issues, and concerns. Key responsibilities include assessing patients' lifestyles, addressing health concerns, and collaborating with patients to implement behavioral, nutritional, and other changes that promote better health and wellness. The role requires creating positive interactions while maintaining patience and professionalism.

Work is performed under immediate supervision but requires good judgment and discretion within established procedures, including HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' lifestyles and health concerns
• Collaborate with patients to develop and implement behavioral and nutritional changes for improved wellness
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their needs, issues, and concerns
• Maintain positive, patient, and polite interactions
• Adhere to HIPAA compliance and established procedures

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
