About the role
The Care Associate provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living, comfort measures, and maintains a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance to patients with activities of daily living
- Maintains a safe and clean environment
- Documents assistance provided to patients
- Works within the guidelines of nursing and Novant Health policies and procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of Novant Health sponsored training program
- Life Support Responder within 90 days of employment
- Completion of Novant Health Safety Attendant training
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Effective computer skills
- Strong customer service skills
