About the role
At Wellthy, we dream of the day when taking care of the sick and the elderly becomes seamlessly human and tech powered. As our Care Adviser (In Home Support), you will work directly with Care Coordinators and fellow Care Advisers to assist with various tasks supporting families and individuals with their unique caretaking needs.
You will receive cross-training on childcare and agency requests and report directly to a Care Manager.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research, contact and follow up with providers, and correspond frequently with Care Coordinators.
- Work within Google Sheets and Wellthy’s Care Network on a consistent basis.
- Navigate various job platforms, create job postings, interview in-home support candidates for Care Recipients, and conduct reference checks.
- Collaborate with Care Coordinators, Care Advisers/Specialists, and Managers to help Members by using your expertise to work through tasks and find the right in-home support.
- Utilize job posting platforms and internal databases to locate and screen in-home support.
- Support improving and updating Wellthy’s Guides and Team Resources.
- Represent Wellthy at events such as health fairs, open enrollments, and internal/external webinars (travel and expenses covered by Wellthy).
- Contribute to non-client-specific work, including feedback on Wellthy’s product, service, guides, marketing materials, and team culture.
- Learn and contribute to other service-related areas for continued growth and development, supporting during peak periods.
- Help with other non-client-specific tasks, such as supporting other service team members.
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in healthcare or caregiving, as well as customer service or administrative experience.
- Experience working in in-home health and/or healthcare staffing or recruiting preferred.
- Ability to work independently while being communicative and collaborative with the Coordination Team.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Strong ethical standards and respect for client confidentiality.
- Ability to integrate and collaborate well with others while adapting to evolving service experiences.
- Knowledge of and ability to navigate the healthcare sector.
- Must work remotely with a strong internet connection, quiet space for calls, and a professional, distraction-free environment.
- Private, secure (not public) internet and phone access to handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in more than one language is a plus.
- Remote work experience preferred.
- Proficiency with macOS systems, GSuite, Slack, and 1Password.
Pay
The starting salary for this position is $19–$22 per hour.
