CardVault by Tom Brady - Breaks Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Breaks Operations Manager oversees live operations for CardVault Breaks, working closely with leadership, breakers, inventory teams, and marketing to ensure smooth and efficient execution. Key responsibilities include managing live stream operations, inventory and logistics, financial and performance tracking, and marketing and content coordination.

Live Stream Operations

• Oversight of nightly ring-outs and reconciliation of all live stream sales through the breaks dashboard
• Scheduling and uploading streams at least 72 hours in advance across Fanatics Live, eBay Live, and Whatnot
• Coordinating daily show schedules and lineups for breakers and program managers
• Ensuring streams are fully populated with accurate product listings, pricing, and descriptions
• Monitoring nightly results and addressing any inventory-pending or reconciliation exceptions

Inventory & Logistics

• Managing inventory tracking and stock levels using Cin7 and Shopify
• Processing stock transfers and resolving inventory issues in Cin7
• Cooking inventory transfers between Boston and Foxborough locations
• Supporting breaks managers with monthly inventory needs and counts
• Maintaining product availability and notifying leadership when reorders or rebuys are needed
• Ordering supplies and materials for the breaks office

Financial & Performance Tracking

• Maintaining and updating live stream performance tracking
• Tracking operational KPIs such as GMV, margins, product mix, and sell-through rates
• Aiding in financial forecasting for each product category
• Ensuring pricing targets and break margins are current
• Keeping product costs accurate in the system for reliable margin and profit reporting

Marketing & Content Coordination

• Managing CardVault Breaks social media accounts, scheduling and posting daily content
• Coordinating promotional graphics and marketing assets with the creative team
• Ensuring live streams are promoted across social platforms and community channels
• Assisting with the production and scheduling of promotional videos

Team & Administrative

• Timekeeping for the breaks team, reviewing and maintaining timesheets
• Supporting the breaks managers and streamers with day-to-day operational needs
• Maintaining standard operating procedures and documentation
• Growing into ownership of breaker scheduling

What Success Looks Like

A successful Breaks Operations Manager ensures the department runs accurately and on time: streams reconcile cleanly each night, inventory matches reality, pricing and costs stay current, the office stays stocked, social stays active, and breakers have the support they need to perform. Over time, this person becomes the operational backbone of the department, aligning every moving part as the business scales.

Requirements

• A general comprehensive knowledge of or passion for trading cards
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Prior supervisor experience
• One-year of similar or industry-related experience preferred
• Experience with spreadsheets and operational data
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Interest in sports cards, collectibles, or live streaming
• Experience with Shopify, Google Sheets, or inventory systems
• Experience in social media coordination or digital marketing
• High school Diploma/GED
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
