Responsibilities

• Provides care to all service lines and patient populations at Emanuel and Randall Children’s Hospitals in the Emanuel Catheterization Laboratory.
• Performs primary and secondary roles (scrub assistant and monitor) during procedures in the Emanuel Catheterization Laboratory in accordance with physician orders.
• Acts as super user in the scrub assistant and monitor roles.
• Precepts scrub and monitor orientees (cardiovascular technologists, angiography technologists, electrophysiology technologists, nurses).

Qualifications

• CV Tech I: One-year previous experience in the field of Invasive Cardiovascular procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization/Angiography Lab is preferred.
• CV Tech II: One-year previous experience in the field of Invasive Cardiovascular procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization/Angiography Lab is required.
• CV Tech III: Two years previous experience in the field of Invasive Cardiovascular procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization/Angiography Lab is required.

Skills

• Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Cath Lab equipment.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Cath Lab product inventory.
• Licensure: Registration in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology preferred for CV Tech I and II, and required for CV Tech III. BLS for Provider and ACLS certifications are required for all levels.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $51.13 - USD $73.12 /Hr.
