About the role

Under supervision, functions as a member of a team utilizing equipment and services. Sets up, operates, and monitors specialized equipment and supplies utilized for cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. Functions as an assistant to cardiologists or surgeons during catheter-based and device implant procedures.

Requirements

Education

Central: Must be a graduate of a Radiology Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent program. If not a graduate of the above programs, must have 4 years of direct cath lab experience.
West: Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology/Radiologic Technology school.

Licensure/Certification

Must be currently registered as a Radiological Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or must become RT(R) or RCIS certified within 18 months of hire or transfer.
Current Certification (or within 1 month of hire) as American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or within 6 months of hire).
West: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 1 month of hire or transfer.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
Current license issued by the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRTB).
Must obtain Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification within 24 months of hire/transfer.

Weekends: Yes - On Call for Weekends

Pay

Compensation Range: $33.94 - $50.91 per hour
