About the Role
We're seeking a RN Clinician for the Cardiovascular Stepdown Department. This role involves delivering safe, effective, and independent nursing care, adapting to changing clinical situations, and personalizing care based on the AACN Synergy Model for Patient Care. The RN Clinician serves as a resource for colleagues and advocates for patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and recognize the impact of nursing care on outcomes.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, incorporating patient/family input and adjusting as needed.
- Document care accurately and efficiently in electronic and physical records.
- Identify patient and family learning needs, recommending appropriate resources.
- Recognize cultural differences and individualize care accordingly.
- Delegate appropriately using the Synergy Model of Care.
- Work effectively with the interdisciplinary team, patient, and family care partners.
- Assist in orienting staff and students in the absence of a designated preceptor.
- Identify the need for policy revisions based on evidence-based research.
- Collect, report, and analyze data to improve patient care and meet organizational standards.
- Participate in surveys, interviews, and other methods to identify and resolve areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years, OR
- Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience within the past five years, OR
- Recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- Exceptions for current LPNs and specific locations as detailed in the posting.
Requirements
- A valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS may be required for certain departments, post-hire.
- Additional certifications may be required based on department and specialty.
- Active compact/multistate license (eNLC) required within 60 days of hire for virtual care activities involving multi-state practice.

Schedule
Weekend Option: 7a-7:30p / Full-Time / 36 Hours
