Cardiovascular / EP Lab Tech

About the Role

Support cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical skills such as monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating during procedures while working with cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
• Prepare and educate patients, verify patient identity, and ensure sterile techniques.
• Handle departmental records, maintain compliance with regulations, and manage supplies.
• Enter procedural data accurately and complete necessary paperwork.
• Provide patient and family education before and after procedures, including home care instructions.
• Participate in teamwork to optimize outcomes and assist with departmental needs, including transport and communication.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Health Science or related field required; Bachelor's preferred.
• One year of cardiovascular cath/EP lab experience or equivalent healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Instructor or Provisional).
• Ability to work flexibly, handle on-call hours, and maintain certifications.
