About the role
This position is eligible for a $10,000.00 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). Hours may vary based on operational needs of the department.
Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric, adolescent and adult diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures.
- Function independently as an expert technologist in invasive cardiology.
- Absorb and educate staff within the department on invasive cardiology procedures.
- Assist Cardiologists with the most complex procedures.
- Oversight of technical operations for routine diagnostic through advanced interventional electrophysiology procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Technologist (CVIS) training program.
- One year of Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab), Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology experience or participation in the CVT apprenticeship program may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
- Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) Technologist training program.
- Two years of Cardiovascular Technologist work experience in a Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology Laboratory preferred.
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Certification upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months.
- RCIS certification. If a graduate meeting minimum education requirement, then licensed, certified, or registered by appropriate credentialing program preferred.
Skills
- Expertise in invasive cardiology procedures.
- Ability to educate and train staff within the department.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform a wide range of cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures.

Pay
This position may be eligible for a $10,000.00 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).
Schedule
Work Schedule: 40 or 36 hours per week, 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts. Operating hours are Monday – Friday, 6:30AM – 5:00PM. Every third weekend on call with an hour response time.
