About the role

Join a growing Cardiothoracic Surgery program as an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with femoral vein harvesting experience (radial harvesting preferred). This OR-focused position supports a high-acuity cardiac surgery service line with additional CVICU coverage alongside dedicated critical care APPs.

• Experience with femoral vein harvesting required
• Radial harvesting and robotic surgery experience preferred

Program highlights

• VA & VV ECMO, Impella, and IABP support
• Growing TAVR and minimally invasive valve program
• On-pump, off-pump, hybrid, and MICS CABG procedures
• Comprehensive thoracic and foregut surgery program
• Current volume of 250+ cardiac and 100+ thoracic surgeries annually

Pay

$165,500–$240,000 base salary

Requirements

• NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant or equivalent Nurse Practitioner certification
• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
• Prior Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required
• New York license or eligibility
• Five years of CTS experience preferred
