About the Role

Join two Cardiothoracic Surgeons in a full-time, broad-spectrum cardiac and general thoracic community practice. Multi-hospital shared weekend call schedule among 3 physicians. Care team includes: 5 seasoned APCs, 2 RNs, and 1 CMA.

Services Offered

Tradition of Excellence in Cardiac Surgery:

  • Coronary artery bypass – including re-operative
  • Complex valve repair and replacement
  • Reconstruction of Aorta and Aortic Roots
  • Surgical Treatment of Thoracic Aortic Disease (TEVAR, Thoracic endovascular aortic repair)
  • Atrial Fib ablation procedures
  • TAVR (catheter-based aortic valve replacement)

Innovation in Surgery of the Chest, Lung, and Esophagus:

  • Robotic Assisted Lung Cancer Surgery since 2006
  • Surgery for motility disorders of the esophagus and Zenker's diverticulum
  • Minimally invasive surgery for: esophageal cancer, benign esophageal disease, repair of defects of the diaphragm, surgery for myasthenia gravis and tumors of the thymus, repair of complex or large hiatal hernia

Comprehensive Surgery for Prevention of Stroke:

  • Carotid endarterectomy
  • TCAR (trans-carotid artery revascularization)

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited surgery residency program
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Experience in: cardiac surgery including CAB, Mitral Valve repair/replacement, AVR and Root Reconstruction, Ascending Aorta and Arch Reconstruction, Robotic General Thoracic Surgery, TAVR Fellowship Skill
