Qualifications

  • Active and Unrestricted California Medical License
  • Active and Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
  • Board Certified in Medical Specialty
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree
  • Completion of US Residency Program in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Completion of a US Residency Program
  • Strong Political and institutional acumen sufficient to accomplish needed action in a complex public research university environment.
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Skills to analyze needs, establish priorities, and provide appropriate medical care and preventive medicine services to the Campus community.
  • Computer and keyboarding skills to use Electronic Medical Records software program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret imaging for all aspects of cardiothoracic services, including interpreting chest radiographs, cardiothoracic CT and MR and chest CTA and MRA.
  • Care for Cardiothoracic patients.
  • Work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
