Position Summary
PRN Work schedule: Weekdays(varies) 7a-7p
Under limited supervision, the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation RN is a proficient practitioner. This level of clinician assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing interventions for a specific population. Patients served include Adult through Adult-Geriatric with cardiac and/or pulmonary disease.
Work Experience
- Qualified candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Maryland is required.
- A minimum of 3 years clinical experience working in a Coronary Care Unit, Telemetry Unit or Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
- Critical/Coronary care experience is preferred.
Essential Skills
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with staff, physicians, nursing and other hospital personnel and the general public.
- The ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of all patient, health system and departmental documents is required.
- The ability to calculate target heart rate and workload capacities.
- The ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as a team member.
