Job Summary

Essen Healthcare is seeking a dynamic Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our growing Bronx-based team. This is a highly compensated opportunity with structured incentives for individuals who bring specialized skills and leadership experience in modern cardiovascular care. This is an outpatient position, but there is an additional opportunity within the group for a Cardiologist to provide consultations for other Divisions in Essen.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care in cardiovascular medicine
• Conduct noninterventional and/or interventional procedures as needed
• Collaborate with other clinicians and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in teaching and mentoring junior physicians and fellows
• Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives related to cardiovascular care
• Provide consultations for other Divisions within Essen Healthcare

Requirements

• Board Certification in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Current New York State Medical License
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in cardiovascular medicine
• Experience with both noninterventional and interventional procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics
• Completion of a Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship
