Cardiology Physician

About the role

Full-time opportunity to join an experienced Cardiology team in the main clinic while also serving a nearby clinic and community. The practice serves a service area of 90,000 people in Michigan's Thumb region, offering Great Lakes amenities such as boating, fishing, skiing, a regional airport, and a reasonable cost of living. The area provides easy access to NCAA college sports and is within a short drive of an international airport, as well as less than two hours from Detroit and Lansing. The community offers a diverse selection of cultural, educational, recreational, and leisure activities.

Responsibilities

• 1:6 call expectation, week‑long at one of two locations
• See new and established patients
• Typical 8‑hour days, Monday‑Friday plus call
• Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, imaging/testing interpretation, and procedures
• Ideal background includes cardiac catheterization, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), cardioversion, loop implant/explant
• Use of Epic EMR

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a medical license in Michigan
• At least 1+ years of experience preferred

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases
• Successful completion of an ACGME‑approved residency and fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor (with or without US residency) holding a current US work visa

Pay

• Base salary with RVU‑based incentive compensation plan
• Year 1 potential income over $675,000
• $100,000 start‑bonus
