Cardiology Medical Assistant
About the role
The Medical Assistant is the first point of contact for patient care. They perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
- Delivers direct patient care dependent on active certification.
- Works on semi-routine assignments.
Requirements
- Use your skills to make an impact.
- Successfully completed MA school/training program or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
- 3+ years MA experience.
- 1+ year of Cardiology experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR Certified.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Benefits
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Pay Range: $43,000 - $56,200 per year
Eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
