Cardiology consultant

About the role

Liberty Healthcare Corporation, a physician‑owned organization with three decades of public health experience and Joint Commission certification, is seeking cardiology consultants to join its panel of physician specialists. Consultants conduct quality reviews of patient medical records on an as‑needed basis to ensure high‑quality healthcare services. This is a non‑direct‑care role that does not involve patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews of patient medical records when requested by Liberty Healthcare.
• Apply cardiology subject‑matter expertise to assess documentation and care quality.
• Provide consulting services remotely from your office or home at times convenient to you.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania medical license.
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Peer review experience is helpful but not required.

Pay

• Initial $500.00 retainer for joining the panel.
• Hourly rate consistent with your usual hourly billing rate for each hour of consulting services provided.

Schedule

• Work hours are not guaranteed; workload may range from zero to ten hours per quarter.
• Flexible, remote work on dates and times that suit you.
