About the role
Seeking a Board-Certified Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join an expanding cardiovascular program.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive heart failure care in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Representing the program in hospital committees
- Overseeing the LVAD program
- Collaborating on research
- Contributing to educational activities, including training fellows, residents, and medical students
- Working within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrating strong clinical skills
- Fostering effective communication and teamwork
- Maintaining current knowledge of heart failure trends
- Developing professional relationships
- Supporting clinical research efforts
- Providing CCU coverage if desired
Qualifications
- Licensed cardiologist from an accredited institution
- Board certified in Heart Failure
- Excellent communication skills with patients and staff
- Knowledge of current heart failure practices and research
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment
- Experience in mechanical circulatory support and ventricular assist devices preferred
- 3-5 years of heart failure expertise
