About the role
Inspects, repairs, installs, and maintains electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Ensures all work performed meets required safety codes and is properly inspected. Uses a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. Has at least two years of journeyman-level electrical experience. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine and moderately complex maintenance and repairs on all building internal electrical systems, equipment, and controls to include 120V internal building power distribution systems, fluorescent, LED, and specialty lighting systems, service panels, feeders, branch circuits and specialized electrical systems such as lighting controls, generators, emergency and standby power systems, fire alarms, motor controls, air conditioning, heating equipment, fans, and pumps.
- Troubleshoots, assesses, and diagnoses system problems and executes repairs as needed.
- Performs routine and moderately complex maintenance and repairs on all external building electrical power supply systems and controls, to include building electrical service feeders and associated electrical service panels, breakers, disconnects, and switches.
- May be required to serve in an on-call status and remain work-ready when scheduled for an on-call period or rotation.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED from a recognized State or Federal accredited organization with four years of experience; Valid driver's license required.
- Experience in installation, repair, and operation of a wide array of common electrical and lighting system components.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
- Shift: Days: Monday - Friday
- Several positions are available as part of our team expansion.
- Pay Band: B9
- Salary Minimum: $23.46/hour
- Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
- Recruitment Period: Until Filled
