About the role

Absorbs responsibility and initiative for planning and time management.

Responsible for implementing organizational skills to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of clerical duties, including filing, minimal typing, basic computer knowledge, and operation of fax, copier, and calculator.
  • Accurate, precise, and exhibits attention to detail.
  • Uses good judgment in prioritizing tasks and communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision, functions efficiently and calmly in stressful situations, and maintains a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Adapts to new technologies and uses good body mechanics.
  • Works under supervision or independently as needed.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED.
  • At least one year of Cardiovascular experience and previous health care background preferred.
  • Basic clerical skills.

Qualifications

  • Good physical and mental health.
  • Able to sit and/or stand for long periods, some walking, stooping, and lifting.
  • Able to use good body mechanics without limitations.
  • Visual acuity, with corrective lenses if necessary, to read printed materials.
  • Good hearing ability, with auditory aids if necessary, to understand the normal speaking voice without viewing the speaker.

  • Good judgment in prioritizing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Efficiently works under stressful conditions.
