About the role
As a Cardio Vascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their experience. Responsibilities
- Assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, angioplasties, and peripheral vascular interventions
- Preparing patients for cardiovascular procedures by explaining the process, addressing questions, and ensuring their comfort, safety, and privacy throughout their care
- Operating and maintaining specialized cardiovascular imaging and monitoring equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images and procedural data
- Monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and vital signs during procedures, promptly recognizing and communicating significant changes to the care team
- Maintaining a sterile procedural environment by following infection prevention protocols and supporting safe, efficient workflow in the cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology laboratory
- Accurately documenting procedure details, patient assessments, medications, supplies, and equipment usage within the electronic medical record and cardiovascular information systems
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures
- Performing equipment quality checks, monitoring inventory and procedural supplies, and reporting equipment issues to ensure uninterrupted patient care
- Pursuing continued professional development through advanced cardiovascular education, certification opportunities, and organizational resources that support long-term career growth
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program
- Minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred but not required
- Current RCIS certification or RAD license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association

Pay
The anticipated hourly wage range for this position is $42.34 - $54.89 per hour. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
